Abraham Ancer Junior Open Announced for Nov. 7–9 in Torreón

The event links Latin American juniors to U.S. coaches through AJGA/WAGR-rated competition on the JUNGLE platform.

Overview

  • The official presentation on Oct. 30 confirmed Club Campestre de Torreón as the host venue and set the tournament for Nov. 7–9.
  • Registration is open at Jungle.golf for players aged 10 to 19 who have not begun university studies.
  • The championship will be 54-hole individual stroke play with a 36-hole cut, awarding AJGA PBE points and WAGR recognition with champion exemptions.
  • A partnership with Club Santos Laguna adds participant kits, an exclusive Estadio Corona tour, and the option to attend the Santos vs. Pachuca match on Nov. 9.
  • Abraham Ancer serves as event ambassador as the Mexican Golf Federation and Azteca Golf voice support, and organizers note it is the fifth stop of JUNGLE’s inaugural season.
