Abortion Rights Groups Launch Campaign for Florida Ballot Measure

Abortion rights groups plan to spend millions to get an abortion rights initiative on Florida's 2024 ballot.
The measure would legalize abortion up until 24 weeks and for health of the patient.
It would not affect existing laws requiring parental consent for minors.
Supporters must collect 890,000 signatures to get the initiative on the ballot.
The campaign could boost liberal turnout in a presidential election year and complicate things for Gov. Ron DeSantis, who signed a six-week abortion ban.
