'Abigail': Universal Pictures Unveils Trailer for New Horror Film

Directed by 'Scream' Filmmakers, the Movie Stars Melissa Barrera and Features Late Angus Cloud in One of His Final Roles

Universal Pictures has released the first trailer for 'Abigail', a new horror film directed by Matt Bettinelli-Olpin and Tyler Gillett, known for their work on the 'Scream' franchise.
The film stars Melissa Barrera, Dan Stevens, Kathryn Newton, William Catlett, Kevin Durand, and the late Angus Cloud, with Alisha Weir playing the titular character, Abigail.
The plot revolves around a group of criminals who kidnap the 12-year-old ballerina daughter of a powerful underworld figure, only to discover that she is a vampire.
The film is set to release on April 19, 2024.
Despite recent controversy and her firing from the 'Scream' franchise due to her comments on the Israel-Palestine conflict, Melissa Barrera continues to find success in her career, also starring in the upcoming horror comedy 'Your Monster'.
