  • Abhishek Sharma rose to No. 1 in the July 30 ICC T20I batting rankings, overtaking Travis Head after the Australian skipped a five-match series in the West Indies.
  • Sharma’s 135-run knock off 54 balls against England at Wankhede Stadium set the Indian record for highest T20I score and powered his jump to 829 rating points.
  • Tilak Varma moved up to third in the T20I batting table, while Australia’s Josh Inglis cracked the top ten at ninth following two half-centuries in the Caribbean.
  • Ravindra Jadeja consolidated his hold on the top Test all-rounder spot by adding 13 rating points to reach 422 through four wickets and an unbeaten 107.
