The couple has been dating for 18 months but has known each other for 25 years, reconnecting two years ago.
Gauri, who has a six-year-old child, has relocated to Mumbai and is now working with Aamir Khan Productions.
Aamir introduced Gauri to his family and friends, including Shah Rukh Khan and Salman Khan, at a pre-birthday gathering.
