A9 and A17 Closures Begin as Rijkswaterstaat Warns of Heavy Holiday Traffic

Overview

  • The A9 between Holendrecht and Badhoevedorp closes in both directions from Friday 20:00 to Monday 05:00, with additional weekend shutdowns scheduled later in October and in November and December.
  • The A17 toward Roosendaal is fully shut between Noordhoek and De Stok for ten days from Friday 21:00 to Monday 20 October 05:00, including all on- and off-ramps, with detours adding up to 30 minutes.
  • Regional works intensify: the N210 near Schoonhoven–Lopik is closed for over two weeks through 27 October, the N11 shuts Friday 21:00 to Saturday 14:00 between Alphen a/d Rijn-Oost and Zoeterwoude-Rijndijk, and the N446 is closed Friday 20:00 to Monday 06:00.
