Overview
- The A7 in Hamburg, including the Elbtunnel, will be fully closed from Friday night to Monday 5:00 for about 55 hours to begin integrating the tunnels into a new control center, carry out maintenance and asphalt works, and install new sign gantries, with long detours via A1/A21/B205 and a request to avoid Hamburg.
- Between Emmerich-Ost and Rees, the A3 will be closed in both directions from Friday, 26 September, 20:00 to Monday, 29 September, 05:00 to renew the Holländerdeich bridge under a Kreis Kleve–approved plan.
- Autobahn GmbH says five A3 bridges near Emmerich will be demolished and rebuilt by January 2027; the Wiesenstraße overpass has been fully closed since 12 September and remains shut until 26 January 2026 with property access maintained and a signed detour via Riethsteege.
- In Oberhausen, Autobahn GmbH Rheinland will close the A‑516 Sterkrade exit toward Arnheim/Kreuz Oberhausen for one night from 29 September 20:00 to 30 September 05:00 to set up the bridge work zone, with a marked diversion via Kreuz Oberhausen.
- In Bavaria’s Bamberg district, the B505 is undergoing a four‑week resurfacing between Pommersfelden and Schweinbach that began 22 September, with traffic guidance past the site and signed reroutes via nearby state roads.
