Overview

• From Monday, 22 September, 22:00 to Monday, 29 September, 05:00, the A44 is fully closed toward Mönchengladbach between Düsseldorf‑Messe/Arena and Lank‑Latum.
• For this period the signed detour runs via the A44 toward Velbert to Ratingen‑Ost, then the A3 toward Cologne to Kreuz Hilden, the A46 toward Neuss to Dreieck Neuss‑Süd, and the A57 toward Krefeld to Kreuz Meerbusch.
• The Lank‑Latum on‑ramp is shut toward Mönchengladbach from 22 September, 22:00 to 24 September, 10:00, then in both directions until 29 September, with local traffic routed via Strümp and alternative access at Bovert to the A57.
• Rheinbahn’s SB52 bus line is suspended during the closure, with passengers advised to use bus 832 to the Hoterheide stop and transfer to the U76.
• The project includes asphalt and binder replacement along the corridor and renewal of roughly 36,000 square meters of gussasphalt on the airport bridge, with a second full closure toward Velbert set for 21–28 October starting at Kreuz Meerbusch and a reverse long‑distance detour via A57, A46 and A3.
