Overview

  • Autobahn GmbH has confirmed a one-week expansion of closures at the A1 junction Hamm-Bockum/Werne from Thursday, October 16 at 09:00 to Wednesday, October 22 at 19:00.
  • In addition to the existing exit closure toward Bremen, the on-ramp toward Bremen will also be closed at short notice.
  • A signed detour routes drivers via the bedarfsumleitung to the next junction at Ascheberg.
  • Crews are replacing old concrete slabs with asphalt on the bridge-side shoulder to enable the traffic management needed for the reconstruction of the bridge over Nordlippestraße (L518).
  • ADAC flags a high risk of congestion during the autumn school holidays, and separate reporting highlights a full A59 closure over eight months that could add to regional delays.
