'A Murder at the End of the World': A New Murder Mystery Series by 'The OA' Creators

Set in a Remote Icelandic Retreat, the Series Explores Themes of Artificial Intelligence and Unsolved Murders

FX's new limited series, 'A Murder at the End of the World', created by Brit Marling and Zal Batmanglij, is a murder mystery set in a remote Icelandic retreat hosted by a tech billionaire, Andy Ronson, played by Clive Owen.
The series follows Darby Hart, a young amateur detective and hacker, played by Emma Corrin, who is invited to the retreat and finds herself investigating a murder among the guests.
The series also explores themes of artificial intelligence, climate change, and the unsolved murders of women and people of color, among others.
Marling, who also stars in the series as Lee Andersen, a former hacker and Ronson's wife, directed three out of the seven episodes, marking her directorial debut.
The series is available to stream on Hulu, with new episodes premiering every Tuesday through December 19.
