  • Concello de A Illa seeks six lifeguards—including one coordinator—to patrol its Area da Secada and O Bao beaches this summer
  • Concello de Moaña has opened applications for six beach lifeguards and two boat operators with a June 20 deadline
  • Applicants must be registered in Galicia’s professional lifeguard registry to qualify for the selection process
  • Candidates will face a 200-metre beach run followed by a 50-metre swim to a buoy and a dummy rescue drill
  • Selected lifeguards will sign three-month contracts from July 1 to September 30 with 40-hour weeks and monthly pay of €1,476.43 (€1,526.90 for the coordinator)
