Overview

  • The first alleged encounter took place on November 18, 2021, in a Castellón park where the accused touched the boy’s head and offered a sexual act.
  • Five days later, the man is accused of kissing the teenager’s cheek, making inappropriate suggestions and touching his intimate parts in an apartment building and elevator.
  • The victim’s mother filed a formal complaint, prompting sexual abuse charges under Spain’s statutes for minors under 16.
  • Prosecutors also seek a €3,000 compensation payment, a ban on approaching the victim within 500 meters, disenfranchisement during the sentence and payment of court costs.
  • The trial is scheduled for June 17 before the Sección Primera de la Audiencia Provincial de Castellón.
