Overview
- Three pedestrians—a 59-year-old woman, a 60-year-old man and a two-year-old boy—were struck when the car mounted the footpath on Coleman Road.
- The woman died at the scene, the man remains in critical condition and the toddler’s condition has been upgraded to stable.
- The vehicle traveled about 200 metres after the initial impact, colliding with a street sign and breaking through a fence before stopping near a playground.
- Paramedics from Ambulance Victoria arrived within minutes and the driver was taken to hospital for medical assessment and blood testing.
- Authorities have not yet interviewed the 91-year-old driver and are urging anyone with dashcam or CCTV footage to contact Crime Stoppers.
