90-Year-Old Brooklyn Man Killed in Hit-and-Run Moped Crash

Overview

  • On July 8 at about 9:34 a.m., Zhuo Xie was struck while standing in the marked crosswalk at East 14th Street and Avenue U in Sheepshead Bay.
  • He suffered severe head trauma and died shortly after being taken to NYU Langone Hospital–Brooklyn.
  • The blue moped rider did not remain at the scene and remains unidentified, and no arrests have been made.
