Overview
- The 8th Central Pay Commission ended its exclusive online submission window on June 30, 2026, enforcing a digital-only rule that rejected offline entries and set the stage for analysis.
- Departments uploaded Pay Matrix level-wise General Provident Fund data that breaks out withdrawals, advances and subscriber counts across Levels 1 to 18 and intermediary grades.
- The Commission also required three years of employee advance data for FY 2022-23 through FY 2024-25, including House Building and Personal Computer advances, to map usage by pay level.
- Detailed allowance and expenditure figures — covering DA, HRA, transport allowance, military pay, risk and hardship pay and other allowances — were collected so the Commission can model fiscal impacts.
- With data collection complete the Commission has moved to analysis and has scheduled stakeholder meetings in Bhubaneswar and Kolkata in early July while no pay, pension or DA-formula recommendations have been finalised.
