Overview

• A teal Mercedes-Benz sedan driven by an 87-year-old mounted the Elizabeth Street footpath about 2:30pm and smashed through the glass front of KT Mart, pinning a shopper inside.
• A 19-year-old pedestrian from Parkville and a 56-year-old shopper suffered non-life-threatening injuries and were taken to the Royal Melbourne Hospital while the driver escaped unhurt.
