'8 Mile' Rapper Supa Emcee Charged with Murder of Wife

Michigan-born rapper Supa Emcee, real name Jimmie Lee Brown, has been arrested and charged with first-degree murder in relation to the death of his wife, Kelly Ann Mays.
Mays, a domestic violence survivor and advocate, was found stabbed to death in her apartment in Westland, Michigan on January 7.
Brown, known for his role in '8 Mile' starring Eminem, turned himself into the Westland Police Department shortly after Mays' body was discovered.
Mays' daughter, Celeste Mays, discovered her mother's body and has since denounced all association with Brown.
Brown is scheduled to appear in court for a hearing on January 25 and could face life in prison if convicted.
