78-Year-Old Dies After Breightmet Bungalow Fire

Police say the incident is not believed to be suspicious.

  • Three fire engines from Bolton and Farnworth used hose reels to extinguish the fire, with crews on scene for just over two hours.
  • Officers kept a small cordon in place as enquiries continued, and an air ambulance was reported to have landed in Dome Park.
