76-Year-Old Woman Dies After Car Plunges Into River in Baden-Württemberg

The car veered off a snowy road, struck another vehicle, and submerged in the Jagst River; the driver was later found deceased.

The accident occurred on the snowy Bundesstraße 19 in Hohenlohekreis, Baden-Württemberg, on Thursday evening.
The 76-year-old driver’s car grazed an oncoming vehicle before veering off the road into the Jagst River, a tributary of the Neckar.
The woman was found dead approximately two and a half hours later by firefighters in the riverbank's branches.
Authorities have not yet located the submerged vehicle and plan to resume the search on Friday during daylight hours.
The driver was alone in the car at the time of the accident, according to police reports.
