Overview
- The eviction was carried out on the morning of June 12 by a judicial committee with Mossos d’Esquadra present under a TSJC order at the request of a private owner.
- The victim, identified as N. B., had been living in the Calle Robadors flat since February and was not the individual originally notified of the eviction.
- Around 6 PM the man triggered a post-eviction alarm while retrieving clothes, prompting police to return to the property.
- Officers tried to restrain him when he suddenly ran to a third-floor balcony and jumped, and emergency responders were unable to save him.
- He had twice refused assistance from Barcelona’s SIPHO social services program, and the Mossos investigation into his death is ongoing.
