Overview

• Penny Kay Clark, 72, was reported missing on Dec. 5 after she failed to return from running an errand.
• Four days later, two men discovered Clark’s wrecked car about 200 yards down a canyon near Melba, Idaho.
• Clark was found about 40 feet away from the crash site, conscious and alert.
• Multiple agencies worked together to rescue Clark, carrying her out of the ravine over a period of nearly two hours.
• Clark was then transferred to a hospital where she is currently recovering from her injuries.
