Overview

• The shooting was reported around 3:20 a.m. Tuesday at 4630 Olive Street near 40th Street after a passerby heard gunfire and called 911
• Officers found the victim, identified by police as a man in his 70s, and he was pronounced dead at the scene
• A witness told investigators they saw a man dressed in black standing over the victim before fleeing the area
