Olivia Blackmer, the sole survivor of a tragic murder-suicide carried out by her mother, succumbed to her injuries after fighting for her life in critical condition.

  • Tranyelle Harshman, a 32-year-old mother in Wyoming, fatally shot her four daughters, killing three, before taking her own life on February 10.
  • The sole survivor, 7-year-old Olivia Blackmer, was airlifted to Primary Children’s Hospital in Salt Lake City and underwent emergency brain surgery but passed away on February 15.
  • The other victims included Olivia’s 9-year-old sister Brailey and 2-year-old twin stepsisters Brooke and Jordan, all of whom were fatally shot in the head.
  • Harshman had struggled with mental health issues, including postpartum depression and PTSD, according to her husband, who described the tragedy as incomprehensible.
