  • 7-year-old Nashville girl, Amy, heroically saved her 3-year-old sister, Stephanie, during a carjacking incident initiated by on-the-run convicted felon Elijah Malik McDowell.
  • The girls' grandfather, Luis Mena, was assaulted by McDowell who then stole his Toyota Tundra pickup truck, unaware that the two little girls were still in the vehicle.
