67-Year-Old Drowns Near Hart-Miller Island After Falling From Crabbing Boat

Police are investigating after a coordinated air-and-dive search located the body for autopsy.

Adding dredge material was stopped in 2009 due to community opposition. Recently, Tradepoint Atlantic wanted to dump dredge material from the Patapsco on the island but abandoned the plan due to community concerns for the wildlife.   • The missing boater was reported to have fallen overboard while crabbing.
