66-Year-Old Woman Fatally Stabbed at London Bus Stop

Anita Mukhey, a grandmother and NHS worker, was attacked in broad daylight; suspect in custody awaiting trial.

Anita Mukhey, 66, was stabbed in the chest and neck while waiting at a bus stop in Edgware, London.
The suspect, Jalal Debella, 22, has been charged with murder and possession of an offensive weapon.
Eyewitnesses reported the attacker slapped, punched, and shook Mukhey before stabbing her.
Emergency services attempted resuscitation, but Mukhey died at the scene.
Debella's plea hearing is scheduled for August at the Old Bailey Court.
