64th Subroto Cup to Begin Aug. 19 With 106 Teams in Delhi-NCR and Bengaluru

AIFF-guided age verification for U-15 players ensures fair play ahead of selection of seven talents for training in Germany.

Overview

  • The tournament runs from Aug. 19 to Sept. 25 with 106 teams competing in Junior Boys (U-17), Junior Girls (U-17) and Sub-Junior Boys (U-15) brackets across two host regions.
  • Junior Girls matches will be held in Delhi-NCR from Aug. 19–28, Sub-Junior Boys will play in Bengaluru from Sept. 2–11 and Junior Boys will conclude in Delhi-NCR from Sept. 16–25.
  • AIFF-compliant skeleton age-determination tests for the Sub-Junior Boys category will be conducted in Bengaluru to maintain eligibility standards.
  • Seven players will be selected through a scouting round to join the Indian Tigers & Tigresses campaign for advanced training in Germany.
  • Matches are scheduled at four Delhi-NCR venues—Ambedkar Stadium, Tejas Football Ground, Subroto Park and Pinto Park—and three Bengaluru grounds operated by the Air Force.
