Overview
- A farmer discovered the figurine in December 2022 in a village along the Parseta River near Kolobrzeg.
- Carved from beige limestone, the statue measures just under 5 inches tall.
- Its exaggerated hips and breasts with a featureless face align it with Neolithic fertility idols.
- Fossilized fragments of snail shells, bivalves and marine worms are embedded in the stone.
