60-Year-Old Michigan Runner Dies During Colorado Hardrock 100 Ultramarathon

Organizers have reaffirmed care for runners, crews and volunteers, with authorities investigating her collapse on a remote mountain trail

  • Elaine Stypula collapsed about three hours into the 102.5-mile Hardrock 100 on the Little Giant Trail near Gold Lake
