Overview

• About 60 firefighters are using eight engines to battle the fire at a single-storey sports pavilion on Jubilee Way.
• Control officers received 54 emergency calls at 16:54 BST before dispatching crews from Kingston, Wimbledon, Surbiton and neighbouring stations.
• Local residents have been told to keep windows and doors shut because of heavy smoke and to avoid the immediate vicinity.
• Jubilee Way remains closed in both directions with bus route K2 diverted via Hook Road, Bridge Road and the A3 Kingston Bypass.
