Overview

• The parade runs Monday, Sept. 1, 2025, from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m., heading west along Eastern Parkway from Utica Avenue to Grand Army Plaza under the theme “Vive le Carnival.”
• PIX11 will air the parade live on PIX11, PIX11.com and PIX11+ for viewers who cannot attend in person.
• The city published extensive closures around Eastern Parkway, including the entire Grand Army Plaza circle and both main and service roads of Eastern Parkway between Plaza Street East and Howard Avenue.
• NY Carnival Week events surround the main parade, with Panorama and other festivities at the Brooklyn Museum reported as sold out for the weekend.
• J’Ouvert is scheduled from 6 a.m. to 11 a.m., with officials addressing safety concerns as Mayor Eric Adams has discussed outreach to local gang leaders and previously highlighted largely peaceful recent celebrations.
