5.8 Magnitude Earthquake Strikes Afghanistan, Tremors Felt Across South Asia

The quake, centered near the Afghanistan-Tajikistan border at a depth of 130 km, caused no reported casualties or damage but was widely felt in India and Pakistan.

The earthquake tremors were also felt in Pakistan's Islamabad, Lahore and parts of the country.
