• Alabama State Troopers identified the victim as Jerry L. Partee, 57, of Alexander City.
• The crash happened at 10:15 p.m. Friday on Alabama 259 about one mile south of Alexander City.
• ALEA Capt. Jeremy Burkett said Partee was standing in the roadway when an unknown vehicle struck him.
• The driver left the scene and the vehicle has not been identified.
