Overview
- Armed Crime Squad detectives charged the Point Lonsdale man with intentionally cause serious injury, reckless conduct endangering life, and three firearm offences including use of an unregistered firearm.
- Police say they arrested the 55-year-old at a Gill Road address just before 11am after the victim sought help at a Nelson Road clinic about 10.30am.
- The 37-year-old was treated by paramedics and airlifted to the Alfred Hospital with an upper-body wound, and he remains in a critical condition.
- Investigators state the two men are known to each other.
