51st Student Academy Awards Honor Emerging Global Filmmakers

The ceremony in London celebrated student talent with gold, silver, and bronze medals across various film categories.

The Student Academy Awards were held at the ODEON Luxe Leicester Square in London, recognizing student filmmakers from around the world.
The awards featured categories in Alternative/Experimental, Animation, Documentary, and Narrative films.
Gold medal winners included projects from San Francisco State University, MoPA 3D Animation School in France, School of Visual Arts in the USA, and Filmová Akademie Miroslava Ondříčka v Písku in the Czech Republic.
First-time honors were awarded to institutions from India, Japan, and the Czech Republic.
All winning films are eligible to compete in the 97th Oscars in the short film categories.
