5 Young Women Killed by Speeding Driver While Preparing for Friend's Wedding

Five close friends aged 20 and under were killed when a speeding SUV struck their vehicle.
The driver of the SUV was allegedly traveling over 40 mph above the speed limit and ran a red light before colliding with the women's vehicle.
The driver, identified as Derrick John Thompson, attempted to flee the scene but was later arrested and tested for drugs and alcohol.
The horrific crash was captured on video and is still under investigation by authorities.
An online fundraiser for the victims' families has raised over $300,000.
