5 shot on Maryland bridge after funeral, police investigating motive

Multiple people were shot on a bridge in Bladensburg, Maryland after leaving a funeral.
The shooting occurred around 12:30pm on Thursday near the intersection of Annapolis and Bladensburg Roads.
Five victims were shot while driving away from the funeral, targeted by suspects in another vehicle.
The victims survived with varying injuries and none of them returned fire during the shooting.
Police have secured the area and continue to investigate the motive behind the shooting.
