• Head coach Kyle Shanahan ruled Brock Purdy out for Sunday in Tampa after he missed the week of practice with a lingering toe injury.
• Mac Jones is officially questionable with knee and oblique issues, did not throw Thursday, then resumed throwing Friday, and Shanahan said he is pretty much counting on him to play.
• If Jones cannot go, Adrian Martinez would start, and the former UFL MVP has yet to take an NFL regular-season snap.
• Jauan Jennings practiced on a limited basis for a second straight day and is questionable, while Ricky Pearsall did not practice and is not expected to play.
