49ers Hall of Famer and Legendary Linebacker Dave Wilcox Dies at 80

Dave Wilcox, former San Francisco 49ers outside linebacker, died at the age of 80.
Wilcox played 11 seasons with the 49ers and was inducted into the Pro Football Hall of Fame in 2000.
He recorded 14 interceptions over his career and was known for his hard-nosed play against the run.
Wilcox was the only long-term 49ers linebacker to make the Pro Football Hall of Fame.
Hall of Fame president Jim Porter described Wilcox as a kind, humble, and gracious man who transformed the outside linebacker position.
