Overview

  • Coach Kyle Shanahan said on KNBR that Robinson has been suspended for the first three regular-season games, with NFL Network reporting the decision is moving through the appeals process.
  • If the ruling stands, he will miss games at Seattle and New Orleans and the home opener against Arizona, returning in Week 4 against Jacksonville.
  • Robinson pleaded no contest in July to a misdemeanor DUI from November 2024 and was sentenced to three years of probation, a $390 fine and court-ordered education programs.
  • San Francisco’s receiver depth is strained with Brandon Aiyuk not expected back until at least Week 6 and injuries to Jauan Jennings, Jordan Watkins and Jacob Cowing.
  • Three games is the league’s standard penalty for a first DUI offense, and Robinson remains eligible to practice and play in the preseason while the appeal is resolved.
