  • Previews start October 14 ahead of an official opening on November 6 at the Daryl Roth Theatre for an eight-week Off-Broadway engagement.
  • The production follows a record-breaking spring premiere at LA’s Kirk Douglas Theatre, where it became the venue’s highest-grossing show.
  • Before its New York engagement, 44 – THE MUSICAL plays Chicago’s Studebaker Theater from August 23 to September 21 to meet sustained audience demand.
  • Conceived, written, composed and directed by former Obama campaign organizer Eli Bauman, the satire charts Barack Obama’s rise with behind-the-scenes anecdotes and musical numbers.
  • Casting is yet to be announced, and the production team includes executive producers Anthony “Brew” Brewster, Steve McKeever, Conrad Bauer and Shanice & Kerry Gordy, with choreography by Miss James Alsop.
