Overview
- An inflatable that left Zuwara on November 3 suffered engine failure in high waves and capsized, leaving 42 people missing and presumed dead, according to the IOM.
- Libyan authorities found seven survivors after six days adrift near the Al Buri oil field and brought them to safety.
- The IOM reported the missing include 29 Sudanese, eight Somali, three Cameroonian and two Nigerian nationals.
