Overview

  • Sabrositos Hondureños, LLC of Edison, N.J., is recalling chorizo, smoked pork chops, and smoked ribs produced without federal inspection.
  • The products, all in 14-ounce vacuum-sealed packages under the OLANCHO label, bear a non-existent USDA establishment number “Est. 1785.”
  • Items were produced on various dates before Aug. 20, 2025, and were shipped to retail locations and restaurants nationwide.
  • FSIS reports no confirmed illnesses but says uninspected meat may pose risks such as undeclared allergens or harmful bacteria.
  • Consumers and businesses should not eat or serve the products and should return or discard them; questions can go to owner Diego Funez Garrido at 908-274-4206 or the USDA Meat and Poultry Hotline at 888-674-6854.
