32-Year-Old Arrested in Warren in Ambush Shooting of Macomb Township Businessman

The arrest followed a coordinated search warrant at a Warren home based on surveillance leads.

The Macomb County Sheriff's Office has announced an arrest in the attempted murder of a Macomb Township businessman. In a joint effort between the Macomb County Sheriff’s Office, Warren Police, and the FBI, investigators arrested a 32-year-old man allegedly involved in the attempted murder of gas station owner Eddie Jawad. Security camera video from a neighbor shows the moments officers carried out the raid at a home on Rivard Avenue in Warren at around 5 p.m Sunday (Oct 19). The video shows a SWAT team breaching the front door of the home.
