31-Year-Old Woman Raped in Paris' Parc de la Villette After Concert

The victim was attacked while walking home; police are investigating, but the suspect remains at large.

The assault occurred around 3:30 a.m. in Paris' Parc de la Villette as the victim was returning home from a concert at the Trabendo venue.
The 31-year-old woman was approached by a man who proposed a sexual encounter, which she refused before being forcibly attacked and raped.
The suspect, described as a man in his 30s, approximately 1.85m tall, with thinning dark hair and wearing a blue parka, fled the scene after the assault.
The victim sought help at the nearby Cabaret Sauvage venue, where security staff assisted her and contacted emergency services and police.
The investigation has been assigned to the second district of the Paris judicial police; no arrests have been made so far.
