• The child died on Tuesday, August 26 at Regina Margherita hospital, four days after the accident at the Al Poggio B&B.
• Carabinieri reconstructed that the families had finished lunch when the boy wandered off and was found in the water about twenty minutes later.
• His father pulled him from the pool and emergency services were called immediately.
• He arrived at the hospital in very serious condition and was intubated in the intensive care unit.
• The family, of Moldovan origin and resident in Omegna, had gone to the B&B to visit relatives who were staying there.
