• A Raven Ridge Wildlife Center rehabilitator collected the tired, frightened boa and transported it to the center for care.
• Forgotten Friends Reptile Sanctuary is assisting with care and outreach to identify the owner of the nonnative pet.
• Rescuers said it is not yet clear whether the boa escaped or was intentionally released, and multiple adoption inquiries have been reported.
