3 Dead, 3 Hurt as Car Hits Parked Dumper in Vidisha, Madhya Pradesh

Investigators are examining visibility, speed and missing warning signs after impounding the parked dumper in a negligence case.

  • Rescuers used cutters and earthmoving machinery to free occupants from the mangled vehicle after the car’s front end lodged into the rear of the dumper.
  • The injured—Jagdish Gond, Monty (Abhiyum) Ahirwar and Tanmay Srivastava—were shifted from Kurwai CHC to Vidisha district hospital, with Monty referred to Bhopal in critical condition.
  • Authorities have impounded the dumper and registered a negligence case, are probing factors such as LED headlight glare and inadequate reflectors, and have completed postmortems with last rites performed.
