29th Kolkata International Film Festival Inaugurated with Star-Studded Attendance

Bollywood actor Salman Khan and West Bengal Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee steal the show with their on-stage dance performance.

The 29th Kolkata International Film Festival (KIFF) was inaugurated with a number of notable personalities in attendance, including West Bengal Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee and Bollywood actor Salman Khan.
A viral video from the event shows Mamata Banerjee and Salman Khan, along with other celebrities, dancing on stage to a song conceptualized by Banerjee and sung by Arijit Singh.
During the event, Salman Khan expressed admiration for Mamata Banerjee's modest living conditions, noting her small house as a testament to simplicity.
The festival, which runs through December 12, will screen 219 films from 39 countries across 23 venues in Kolkata.
This was Salman Khan's first time attending the inauguration of the Kolkata International Film Festival.
