27-Year-Old Drowns at Ensor’s Pool in Nuneaton

Authorities have opened a coroner’s investigation following the drowning, issuing fresh warnings on the hazards of open-water swimming

  • Nuneaton and Bedworth Police confirmed that 27-year-old Wojciech Berlan from Redditch disappeared beneath the water at Ensor’s Pool on August 17 and later drowned.
  • Emergency services recovered Berlan’s body at 1:30pm after he had been underwater for more than five minutes but were unable to save him.
